24 /7 Wi-Fi throughout Aurora (subject to reception)
Our Holland Route has a very good reception.

TV
Aurora has a LCD television on board in main saloon and every suite has a TV screen with Netflix. But try to remember it is a vacation! But with internet and Laptop / iPad you can always stay connected and informed.

Electrical service in Holland and on board Aurora is 220 volts/50 hertz. If using appliances from either the US or Canada you will need both a socket plug adaptor and a voltage converter. This equipment may not be readily available overseas, so if you plan to travel with an electric appliance, remember to pack your converter/adapter too.

All laptops / iPhones, iPads, iPods work happily & there are many charging points onboard.

We have travel adapters if you need them.

  • Telephone Service: There are no passenger telephones on board Aurora.
  • But you can use one of Aurora’s guest Mac or Pc to Skype, anytime!
  • Check with your service provider… Many include free roaming for calls & data.
  • If they do not have a “vacation package” then Data roaming will be very expensive.
  • Cell phones: Your US Cell Phone will work in Europe if it is GSM (“Global System for Mobile”)
  • Internet: Aurora has Wi–fi throughout the ship (best reception is in Salon)

There are 8 x speed bicycles & helmets on board.
Joggers: early morning in the country side, before we sail.

Aurora is happy to do some laundry for you. We understand the pleasure in traveling LITE:
It is also easier for us to do a load of “smalls” instead of hand rinsing & drying them in your en-suite.

We are near a doctor every day.
Our bus is available 24/ 7 for emergencies as well as local ambulances and an incredibly efficient Hospital system.

Smart casual – entirely up to you on a full boat charter.
Some guests dress for dinner but a lot do not.

The gangplank for entering and exiting the ship restricts wheelchairs, requiring guests to be able to walk on and off the ship.

Smoking is forbidden inside of the ship, but allowed on the upper sun deck.
